The Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson along with MP Ladakh, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal visited the Taru Campus of the University of Ladakh

The Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson along with MP Ladakh, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal visited the Taru Campus of the University of Ladakh in Leh today. There, they attended the ceremonial function of the week-long ‘Student Exchange Programme’ between the University of Ladakh (UoL) and the University of Gujarat (UoG).

The officials inaugurated Gujarat Bhawan, a study centre of the University of Gujarat established at the Taru Campus of the University of Ladakh in Leh. VC UoL, Prof. S.K Mehta; Dean Academic Affairs, UoL; Prof. Deskyong Namgyal; Dean Academic Affairs, Rayat Bahra University, Prof. Neena Mehta; Director Indian Institute of Sustainability, Prof. Sudhanshu Jangir; Director Taru Campus, UoL; Konchok Angmo, and faculties, as well as students from both the universities, were present during the occasion.

An interaction session was conducted with the media representatives from Gujarat and Leh at the university campus in the presence of all the dignitaries. Vibrant cultural performances from both the states were showcased in addition to the address by the dignitaries expressing their thoughts on the programme.
