Swab samples of shopkeepers collected for Covid-19 test at Khaltsi

Leh, Nov 30: Swab samples of the shopkeepers were collected for the Covid-19 test at Community Health Centre (CHC) in sub-division Khaltsi today. The swab samples of the shopkeepers were also collected on November 29 on the direction of the Chairman, District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Leh, Shrikant Suse, in the wake of the recent surge in the Covid-19 cases in Ladakh.
Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Khaltsi, Suhail Ahmad, directed Block Medical Officer (BMO), Khaltsi, to take swab samples of shopkeepers from the Khaltsi main market and adjacent areas mandatorily.
Naib-Tehsildar Khaltsi, Mohd Yousuf; in-charge Police Post, Khaltsi, Skarma Angchuk; Police personnel and para-medical staff of CHC Khaltsi ensured timely collection of swab samples of all the shopkeepers
