State Eligibility Test, SET for Ladakh to be conducted at Leh by University of Jammu

Leh, December 11: The State Eligibility Test will be held on May 15, 2022 (Sunday), for determining the eligibility of candidates for Assistant Professor in University and colleges of UT of Ladakh (LASET) along with the SET for the UT of Jammu and Kashmir.
The University of Jammu which is the nodal Agency will conduct SET in 38 subjects at three Centers in Jammu, Srinagar and Leh. The application and other details are available on the website http://www.jammuuniversity.ac.in/
The Higher Education Department of UT of Ladakh had taken up the matter regarding conduct of SET with the UGC and the Department of Higher Education, J&K after which it was decided that the University of Jammu shall be the nodal agency to conduct the SET for Ladakh for the year 2021-22.
SET or State Eligibly Tests are conducted at the state level and SET qualified candidates can apply for the assistant professor or lecturer posts in that state-owned institutions.
