Special camp held at Sankoo under Good Governance Week

KARGIL, DECEMBER 23, 2021: On the direction of Deputy Commissioner and CEO LAHDC Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve, a special camp was conducted at Barsoo Sankoo today by Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Sankoo along with Tehsildar Sankoo besides other staff as part of the celebration of Good Governance Week under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
The aim of the program was to provide doorstep service to the people of Barsoo and its adjoining areas. During the camp, various certificates were issued to the local residents.
The people of adjoining areas of Barsoo, Shargandi, Itchoo, Khandi and Thasgam also got benefited from the special camp.
Apart from this, other issues related to land raised by the people of Barsoo areas were heard by SDM Sankoo and assured them for early and timely redressal of the issues.
As part of the Good Governance Week, SDMs, Tehsildars of Kargil district are organizing special events in their respective headquarters to resolve public grievances.
LRCs, ST certificates, income certificates, married/unmarried certificates, mutations, abstract copies of Jamabandi, Girdari and mutations of part-e Patwar, Chulla-Firist, electoral roll copy, relief assessment and disposal of revenue cases are covered as part of celebrations of Good Governance Week which started on December 20 and will conclude on December 26.
