    Secretary, Padma Angmo attends EPC meeting in New Delhi

    Leh, Oct 11: The meeting of the Empowered Programme Committee (EPC) for consideration of Annual Programme Implementation Plans of States/UTs for the year 2021-22 for Anganwadi Services Schemes was held by the Ministry of Women & Child Development, GoI at New Delhi today.
    The States/UTs participating in the meeting were Bihar, Goa, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Pundducherry, Ladakh and Assam. Padma Angmo, Secretary, Tribal & Social Welfare was representing UT of Ladakh in the meeting.
    Padma Angmo gave a detailed presentation on the APIP proposal of UT Ladakh and UCs pending in respect of funds released for construction/upgradation of AWCs from the year 2013-14 onwards and for providing Drinking Water Facilities and construction of Toilets in AWCs under SAP. Besides, projects and AWCs sanctioned vs. operational, status of opening SNAs, Aadhar Seeded Beneficiaries, vacancy posts, beneficiaries for supplementary nutrition were also reported by Padma Angmo during the meeting.
    The Principal Secretary/ Secretary in-charge of Anganwadi Services Scheme and Director (Anganwadi Services Scheme) of the concerned States/UTs and Secretaries of line Departments/Ministries attended the EPC meeting at Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi.
