SDM Nyoma reviews arrangements for Independence Day celebrations

Leh, Aug 07: Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Nyoma, Rigzin Yangdol, today chaired a meeting to review arrangements for the Independence Day celebrations at Nyoma sub-division.

Government Middle School at Nyoma was finalised as the venue for the celebration of Independence Day, where SDM Nyoma would unfurl the national flag. Ladakh Police would present the guard of honour to the national flag.

SDM Nyoma directed the concerned officials to make the arrangements strictly adhering to Covid-19 protocols and SOPs.

The status of work currently in progress by the departments, especially at the border areas, were discussed during the meeting.
