SDM Nubra reviews arrangements for Independence Day celebration

Leh, Aug 05: The Sub-divisional Magistrate (SDM), Nubra, Lakshay Singhal today convened a block-level meeting to review the arrangements for the celebration of Independence Day in the sub-division.
During the meeting, it was informed that the Independence Day would be celebrated strictly adhering to the Covid-19 guidelines and advisory issued by the Home Ministry. It was decided that the venue for the main function would be Boys Middle School, Diskit where the SDM Nubra would unfurl the national flag.
Various committees for security, hospitality, venue management and medical facilities among others were formed and duties/ responsibilities were assigned as per the work and requirement of the day.
The heads of various departments and concerned officials were present during the meeting.
