SDM Khaltse reviews preparedness for Intensified Pulse Polio Immunization program

Leh, Feb 24: Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Khaltse, Suhail Ahmad chaired a meeting of Block Task Force Committee Khaltse regarding Intensified Pulse Polio Immunization (IPPI) program at his office chamber today.
It was informed that the Intensified Pulse Polio Immunization (IPPI) program is scheduled for February 27.
SDM enquired about the upcoming polio booth centre of the various villages of the Khaltse Block. He directed ZEO Khaltse, BDO Khaltse, BDO Skurbuchan and CDPO Khaltse to give permission to Medical Department to use the Schools building, ICDS Centres and Community Hall of Khaltse block for setting up Polio booth for smooth functioning of the Polio session.
SDM also instructed the concerned officers to create awareness among the public about Pulse Polio Immunization.
The meeting was attended by Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Khaltse; Block Development Officer (BDO), Skurbuchan; Incharge Assistant Information Officer (AIO) Khaltse; staff of Health Department Khaltse and ICDS Department Khaltse.
