Schools of Likir sub-division reopens with ‘Back to School’ prog

Leh, March 07: The Government High School, Hemis Shukpachan, Likir and other schools of the Likir sub-division celebrated the ‘Back to School’ programme. All the government and private schools for classes 6th to 12th reopened in Leh district today after the Covid pandemic led to the closure of schools in early 2020.
The school administration in presence of Sub Divisional Magistrate, Likir, Dr Sarwar Shahzad, Sarpanch Hemis Shukpachan and other dignitaries wholeheartedly welcomed the students and the parents to the school reopening ceremony.
The inaugural event of the ‘Back to School’ programme included motivational talks by the dignitaries.
Similarly, other schools of the Likir sub-division celebrated the ‘Back to School’ program which was enthusiastically attended by students, district officials and public representatives.
