    KARGIL, JANUARY 26, 2022: The 73rd Republic Day was celebrated at Council Secretariat Kargil today with great zeal and enthusiasm where Executive Councilor (EC) for works, Syed Abbas Razvi unfurled the tricolour.
    Executive Councillor for Tourism and Zanskar Affairs, Er Punchok Tashi, Executive Councilor for Health Mohsin Ali, ADC Tsering Motup, Superintending Engineer PWD, Tashi Tundup, Technical Officer to Chief Engineer PWD, besides staff of Council Secretariat Kargil were present on the occasion.
    Speaking on the occasion, EC Syed Razvi, while highlighting the importance of the Republic Day extended his warm greetings to people.
    While congratulating the people on the 73rd Republic Day, he recalled the immense contribution of makers of the Indian Constitution and supreme sacrifices of the national heroes who laid down their lives for the country.
    He conveyed his greetings especially to the people of Kargil, frontline warriors and health workers for their tremendous role in fighting against the Covid-19 pandemic.
