PWD, PHE Department organize workshop on implementation of JJM in Zanskar

KARGIL, AUGUST 29, 2021:As a part of the series of ongoing programmes under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and to observe the 2nd phase of Paani Maah, Public Works Department (PWD), Public Health Enginnering (PHE) Department Zanskar organised 1 day workshop on the implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) at Dak Bunglow Padum here today.
Engineers of concerned departments, PRI members and members of Village Water Sanitation Committe Zanskar attended the workshop.
During the course of the workshop, experts of water testing from the District Water Sanitation Committee Kargil enlightened the participants how to check the quality of drinking water.
Assistant Executive Engineer, Phurbo Sangdup and other speakers urged the PRI members to take full benefit from such workshops to extend maximum benefits to the local population.
Meanwhile, water testing kits were distributed among the PRI members on the occasion.
