On SDM’s directions, two sale centres of gas agencies sealed at Sankoo

KARGIL, JANUARY 05, 2022: On the direction of Sub Division Magistrate (SDM) Sankoo, two sale centres of HP and Indian gas were sealed today at Sankoo for inflated prices.
Officials said earlier many complaints were received from the people of Sankoo areas regarding the increase in rates by HP and Indian dealers without any authorization.
Following the complaints, SDM Sankoo directed the concerned Naib Tehsildar Muhammad Hussain to seal both the centres forthwith.
Accordingly acting on the directions, the Naib Tehsildar sealed both the centres for selling the gas cylinders at high rates and also instructed them to put up all the registration and fireproof related documents to his office for further course of action.
Meanwhile, residents of the area have hailed the move and lauded the concerned administration for swift and quick action against the offenders/defaulters.
