    KARGIL, DECEMBER 27, 2021: Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS) Kargil under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India today organized a training program for youth on “Clean Village- Green Village.”
    On the occasion, Sajjad Hussain Tehsildar Tai-Suru block was the chief guest, Yasir Hussain Wani Block Development Officer Tai-Suru block was the guest of honor and in-charge Police Post Panikhar was the special guest.
    He has expressed gratitude to NYKS Kargil for organizing such program in Tai Suru block and also appreciated ESSAY Tai Suru for coordinating with NYKS.
    The objective of the program was to sensitize and motivate people towards the importance of cleanliness, greenery and non-use of plastic material. It was also aimed to address challenges and barriers for making villages clean, green and plastic-free.
    The resource persons stressed on the responsibility of youth towards building a safe and hygienic environment, clean surroundings, keeping villages litter-free and ban on single-use plastic. The program ended with vote of thanks by Haider Ali president of ESSAS Tai- Suru.
