Ladakhi runners shines at Delhi Marathon

Leh, Mar 27: The seventh edition of the Ageas Federal Life Insurance New Delhi Marathon organized by NEB sports occured at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium today.
The Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Adv.Tashi Gyalson on behalf of LAHDC Leh congratulated athelete Tashi Ladol and Diskit Dolma for their splendid performances thus bringing laurels to the UT of Ladakh.
As Tashi Dolma secured first place, had finished with the timing of 1 hour 27 mins 49 seconds, to complete 21 km in Elite Half Marathon and Diskit Dolma secured 3rd position in Elite Full Marathon at the Ageas Federal New Delhi Marathon 2022. She clocked the timing of 3hour 22mins 06seconds to complete 42 km at Jawaharlal Nehru stadium today.
Similarly, CEC Tashi Gyalson also appreciated the efforts and hard work of Stanzin Wangchuk and Nawang Tsering during the marathon. As Nawang Tsering clocked 2 hour 39 minutes 39 seconds which is so far the best timing by any Ladakhi Marathon-Runner (Men) breaking his own record which was 2hours 42minutes 49seconds of last year.
