IT Dept UT Ladakh organizes training session on e- office system

KARGIL, DECEMBER 20, 2021: The Department of Information Technology (IT) UT Ladakh in collaboration with District Administration Kargil today organized one day training session on e-office system for officers and officials of DC office at conference hall Baroo.
Assistant Commissioner Revenue Abdul Gaffar Zargar, Deputy District Election Officer Nargis Banoo, Chief Planning Office, Abdul Hadi, Accounts Officer Ajaz Hussain, District Informatics Officer Iftikhar Hussain, Headquarter Assistant Arifa Iqbal Lone besides other concerned officers attended the training session.
Sajjad Hussain Manager and Ishtiyaq Hussain Network Engineer of the IT Department gave a detailed presentation to the officials on different modes and usage of the e-office system.
To ensure roll out of e-office, the department have to adopt e-office software of National Informatics Center (NIC) as the only mode of transition of official business file work in their respective department and also to adopt best practice for improving efficiency in the e-office system, disposal of official business.
On the occasion, officials said the roll out of e-office in the government offices is a step to introduce paperless offices, besides shifting official records avoiding wear and tear, loss of official records during transportation.
They said the shift to e-office will bring considerable improvement in disposal of official business and establish accountability by monitoring statistics of file movement thereby improving public service delivery.
Meanwhile the training session ended with an interactive question answer session.
