Hill Council Leh observes World Earth Day

Leh, April 22: World Earth day themed ‘Invest in our Planet” was celebrated today at the Council Secretariat, LAHDC Leh. The Chairman/CEC, Adv. Tashi Gyalson initiated a symbolic Plantation drive to observe World Earth Day today.
Executive Councillor for RDD, Tashi Namgyal Yakzee, Executive Councillor for Agriculture, Stanzin Chosphel,Executive Councillor for Minority, Ghulam Mehdi Ashoor; Deputy Commissioner Leh/CEO LAHDC Leh, Shrikant Suse, District officers and staffs of Council Secretariat wholeheartedly participated in the symbolic plantation drive.
