GDC Nubra organises cleanliness drive, extempore speech competition

Leh, Aug 12: Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Social Activity Committee of Government Model Degree College, Nubra, organised a series of events at the College campus as a part of the sustainable cleanliness drive. A cleanliness drive and extempore speech competition on ‘Swachhata and Environment’ were organised during the occasion.
Faculty members and students of the College took part in the cleanliness drive and cleaned the office, classrooms and the library.
The extempore speech competition on ‘the significance of cleanliness in one’s life and importance of keeping the surroundings clean’ was conducted in the presence of Principal, GDC Nubra, Tsewang Motup. Students of Semester 1, 2 and 5 took part in the extempore speech competition.
Similarly, a poster making and slogan writing competition on Swachh Ladakh was held at the College. Students from all semesters took part in the competition.
