    Financial Crime Unit Kargil organizes program on corruption-free Ladakh (3)

    KARGIL, MARCH 06, 2022: Financial Crime Unit Kargil in collaboration with Ladakh Tribal Foundation today organized an awareness program on corruption-free Ladakh at Government High School Minjee.
    Khadim Purgi, Chairman Ladakh Tribal Foundation welcomed all the guests and introduced all the speakers in the panel.
    Inspector Shamim Ahmed, Incharge Financial Crime Unit introduced the topic and spoke about financial irregularities, corruption, malpractices in the execution of government works.
    While encouraging the general public to feel free in reporting these matters, he emphasized public participation in dealing with such crimes.
    Sub Inspector S-Zangpo and Chuskit Angmo also addressed the gathering and gave their valuable inputs regarding the matter.
    Youth Action Committee member, Muhammad Ali Jinnah shared his experience being a social worker and was briefed about different challenges faced by his committee. He praised the Police Department for its contribution.
    Various organizations, PRI members, and Anganwadi workers of the village participated in the program and hailed the organizers for holding the program.
    The Chairman Ladakh Tribal Foundation Purgi thanked all the guests and speakers for attending the program and making it successful.
    Later, the Financial Crime Unit Kargil of Police Department and Ladakh Tribal Foundation addressed a public gathering at taxi stand Kargil and spoke about various cyber financial frauds being reported and how not to fall prey to those frauds
