FCS&CA Dept Nubra conducts awareness programme on PMGKAY scheme

Leh, April 23: As a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, an awareness programme on Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana (PMGKY) was organised by FCS&CA, Nubra at Hunder.
Deputy Chairman, LAHDC Leh, Tsering Angchuk visited Hunder village alongwith SDM Nubra, Tehsil Supply Officer Diskit, HoDs of Nubra, Sarpanch Hunder, Sarpanch Partapur accorded a warm welcome to the Deputy Chairman.
Deputy Chairman, Tsering Angchuk briefed the villagers about Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana (PMGKY). He said under this scheme, free ration of 05 Kg food grains/person/month comprising 3.5 kg of rice and 1.5 kg of atta is being provided to the members of the Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) and Priority Households (PHH) beneficiaries. He urged people to take benefit of this scheme.
SDM Nubra, Lakshay Singhal briefed about the various ongoing schemes of the department and shared the benefits of PMGKY.
The event ended with distribution of rations to the Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) and Priority Household (PHH) beneficiaries.
