Education Department organizes Public Hearing Audit program on social audit under PM-POSHAN scheme in Kargil

KARGIL, JUNE 20, 2022: Department of Education Union Territory of Ladakh today organised a Public Hearing Audit program on social audit under PM-POSHAN scheme at Auditorium Hall, Kargil.
Director School Education UT Ladakh Safdar Ali, Under Secretary MHRD Government of India Arnab Dhaki and his team from MHRD, Chief Education Officer Mushtaq Ahmed, Assistant Director CAPD, Deputy Education Officer, ZEOs, CDPOs, Teachers, Municipal Councillors and PRI members besides other concerned officers attended the event.
While speaking on the occasion, Director Safdar Ali said the major theme of discussion for the event is distances, roads and terrain that come as obstacles for proper execution of PM-POSHAN scheme in Ladakh as the region is scattered across a large area. He said despite the situation, measures have been taken for the proper implementation of the scheme.
On the occasion, Under Secretary Arnab Dhaki said since the formation of UT, funding of the concerned department, regarding the scheme is 100 percent. He also shared his views on the obstacles in implementation of the scheme in Ladakh.
Earlier, CEO Mushtaq Ahmed welcomed the guests. ZEO Mohammad Musa, Nodal Officer PM-POSHAN scheme Ghulam Nabi talked about the challenges in implementation of the scheme.
Later, a group discussion with the resource persons and audience was also held for feedback, grievances and suggestions regarding the implementation of the scheme. Sajjad Aga conducted the program proceedings
