EC Works inspects land feasibility, technical aspects for installation of solar submersible pump

KARGIL, April, 26, 2022: Executive Councilor Works Aga Syed Abass Razvi today inspected land feasibility and other technical aspects for the installation of solar submersible pump for lift irrigation at Karkitchoo village.
Councilor Badgam Altaf Hussain, Superintending Engineer (SE) PWD, Er Tashi Tundup, Engineers of PWD, besides other concerned officers were present during the visit.
The SE PWD informed that the tender and allotment of the solar submersible pump has already been done and also assured that the work will be started within a week.
EC works requested locals to provide feasible land for the installation of solar plates so that the optimum use of technology can be used for maximum benefits for land irrigation purpose.
The SE also assured that for temporary arrangement of water for land irrigation, water taping will be done from nearest source within a week for immediate relief for the locals.
