EC Syed Abbas conferred with Kargil Gaurav Award 2021 Participates in 4.3 kilometre long mini marathon

KARGIL, JULY 26, 2021: Executive Councillor for Works and Information Aga Syed Abbas was conferred with the Kargil Gaurav Award, 2021 by Sarhad Pune during a public felicitation at Pune on Sunday.
The award was presented by the Home Minister of Maharashtra Dilip Walse Patil on the occasion of the 400th Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji Sahib.
Sarhad hosts Kargil Marathon every year and aims to contribute towards making Kargil an international tourism destination including
promotion of sports culture in the Kargil, Drass and Batalik region.
Meanwhile, the EC Works also participated in a 4.3 kilometre long mini marathon ‘Kargil Sadbhavana Daud: A tribute to Sri Guru Tegh
Bahadur Ji Sahib and the Kargil Martyrs’ which was held from Shaniwarwada, Pune to the War Memorial at the Army Southern Command
