EC Syed Abass inaugurates Ayushman Bharat Block Health Mela at Sankoo

KARGIL: APRIL 22, 2022: Executive Councillor for works, LAHDC, Kargil, Aga Syed Abass Rizvi today inaugurated the Ayushman Bharat Block Health Mela at CHC Sankoo.
The EC was accompanied by SDM Sankoo Muhammad Hanif Zaidi, Block Medical Officer Dr Ghulam Hussain, Councillor Lankerchay Ghulam Haider and PRI members.
BMO Dr Ghulam Hussain briefed the EC about the health mela which consist of eye check-up, Ayushman Bharat Golden Card Generation, non-communicable diseases (NCD) screening for drugs and hypertension of target population, immunization/ Covid-19 vaccination, dental and oral cancer awareness, HWC/ E Sanjeevini online consultation, Amchi OPD and blood grouping/registration of blood donors.
Later, the EC also visited various sections of the Health Centre and took stock of the functioning of various sections.
EC Aga Abass appreciated the voluntary service of Orthopaedic Dr Joseph who is providing free consultancy for the last few years at CHC Sankoo once a week.
