EC Punchok Tashi extends greetings to Tsultrim Chosjor for receiving Padma Shri

KARGIL, NOVEMBER 12, 2021: Executive Councilor for Tourism and Zanskar Affairs Er Punchok Tashi today extended his greetings to Tsultrim Chosjor who has been conferred with the prestigious Padma Shri award by the President of India.
EC Tashi expressed his greetings to Tsultrim Chosjor and his family members on having been conferred with the prestigious Padma Shri Award in the field of social work.
“On the occasion of this historic event, I on behalf of the people of Zanskar would like to pay my heartiest compliments /congratulations to Tsultrim Chosjor and his family members on having been conferred with the prestigious award,” the EC said.
He said it is a proud moment for the people of whole Zanskar in particular and Ladakh in general to learn that the legendary man Tsultrim Chosjor residence of Stongday Zanskar who is known for his extraordinary social contribution has been conferred with the prestigious civilian award.
“He is a source of inspiration for many and I would like to thank him for making the entire Ladakh region proud. I wish him a long life to enlighten us with his noble deeds ,” EC Tashi said.
