    EC Mohsin Ali attends milestone event of celebration of 100 crore COVID-19 vaccine doses in India at DHK

    KARGIL, OCTOBER, 14, 2021: Executive Councillor for Health Mohsin Ali attended an event held for celebration of the milestone of 100 crore COVID-19 doses in the country at District Hospital Kargil (DHK) here today.
    Additional Deputy Commissioner Kargil Tsering Motup, Cheif Medical Officer Munawar Hussain Wazir, Medical Superintendent DHK Dr Liyaqat Ali Khan, Block Medical Officer (BMO) Dr Fatima Nissa, District Immunization Officer (DIO) Dr Jaleel Ahmad Wani besides other concerned officers and Healthcare Workers were present on the occasion.
    Speaking on the occasion EC Mohsin Ali said that this day is a moment of immense pride for all of us across the nation that despite having a huge population our country has been able to achieve 100 crore vaccine doses to the beneficiaries.
    Applauding the efforts of the medical fraternity of Kargil for their efforts to achieve 100 percent vaccination in the first and 78 per cent in the second phase, EC Mohsin Ali said that their services and dedication has made the achievement possible and we are leading ahead of many other parts of our country in battling the pandemic which is obviously due to the joints effort of the LAHDC, District Administration, Healthcare Workers and other stakeholders.
    ADC Tsering Motup in his address expressed hope that soon the Health
    Department Kargil will achieve 100% achievement in terms of the second phase of vaccination as well. He said that the extraordinary commitment shown by the Health Department in curbing the COVID-19 pandemic is truly an example and expressed optimism that they will continue their works in the same spirit.
    CMO Kargil Dr Munawar Wazir expressed thanks to all the Healthcare Workers, Medical Practitioners and other staff of the department for working dedicatedly during the two years of pandemic and making the maximum vaccination possible in Kargil. He also expressed thanks to the Union Government, UT Administration Ladakh, LAHDC Kargil and District Administration Kargil for extending all possible support and guidance throughout the pandemic.
    During the event, Heathcare Workers who worked dedicately during the vaccination process were felicitated by the dignitaries.
    BMO Dr Fatima Nissa and DIO Dr Abdul Jaleel Wani also addressed the gathering on the occasion.
