Director RD&PRD chairs meeting to review developmental activities in Kargil

KARGIL, MAY 26, 2022: Director Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department UT Ladakh, Tahir Hussain Zubdavi today chaired a review meeting in order to review various developmental activities undergoing in Kargil district in various sectors.
During the meeting, threadbare discussions and deliberations were held on listing of heritage sites, constitution of committee for village history, ongoing works under SDP, BDC work plan and grey water management.
Pertaining to the listing of heritage sites, the director stressed on concerned officers to complete the listing of heritage sites at the earliest.
Zubdavi said physical works undergoing in different sectors should be completed by June end 2022 and the financial works should be finished by July end of the current financial year.
Highlighting the need to establish the infrastructure for grey water management within the UT and district, Tahir directed to take necessary actions at the earliest.
The Director further directed to finish the pending ongoing works at the earliest and also took detailed assessment of various works ongoing in all blocks of the district.
ACD Kargil Ghulam Mohammad gave a detailed assessment of the status of the ongoing works in different sectors and said that all concerned Block Officers need to work in coordination with the PRI members in order to strengthen the works of RD&PRD in the district.
Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Kargil Ghulam Mohammad, Executive Engineer Rural Engineering Wing (REW) Gulzar Hussain Munshi, Block Development Officers of all blocks, concerned engineers and other concerned officers were present during the meeting.
