Director RDD Ladakh visits Nyoma sub-division to review overall development

Leh, December 20: To review the overall development of sub-division activities at Nyoma sub-division, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Director, Rural Development Department, UT Ladakh, Tahir Hussain. During the visit, he also visited Mudh, Khurul, Tsaga, Dongti, Demjok and Koyul village along with Councillor, Nyoma Constituency, Ishey Spalzang and Block Development Council, Chairperson Urgain Chosdon on December 18 and 19.
Also, the Director reviewed the overall development of sub-division activities at Nyoma sub-division to get first-hand information regarding the vigilance activities of the Rural Development Department, UT Ladakh. Sub-Divisional Magistrate Nyoma and BDO Nyoma also participated in the meeting.
Director, Tahir Hussain gave on-spot directions to the officers and officials of the Rural Development Department to exhaust the available funds (SDP, centrally sponsored schemes etc) before December 31, 2021.
Further, the Director advised the officials of RDD to work with zeal and enthusiasm and with close coordination with the members of Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) and public representatives.
