Department of Sports GDC Drass organizes cricket tournament, road race under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

KARGIL, OCTOBER, 17, 2021: As a part of the various events held under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Department of Physical Education and Sports, Government Degree College (GDC) Drass organized an intra-mural sports competition here on Saturday.
Under the competition, a maiden cricket tournament was organized in which 4 teams of the college were participating. The finals of the tournament are being played next week.
A road race competition was also held in which 30 students of the college participated.
BDC Chairperson Drass Noor Muhammad, Principal GDC Drass Dr Amjad Ali Abbasi, Director Physical Education and Sports Mustafa Ali, polo promoter Muhammad Amin Polo, faculty members and students and sports enthusiasts were present on the occasion.
The dignitaries congratulated the position holders of the road race competition under the girls and boys category and appreciated the participants.
