CEC Leh visits plot distributed area for Ex-Servicemen community at Spituk Farka
Leh, Nov 13: The Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson visited plot distributed area for Ex-Servicemen of Ladakh Scouts at Dak Stago, Spituk Farka. The delegation from the Ex-Servicemen League Ladakh presented him with a memorandum requesting basic infrastructures required in the area. The demands include Culverts, Borewells, Transformers, and additional land.
Taking note of the concerns, CEC Tashi Gyalson assured the delegation that the Hill Council will definitely help in developing the area for the Ex-Servicemen community and directed officials from PHE, PDD, and other line departments to ensure the works get done soon. He also directed officials of the revenue department to plan for the additional land requirements for the left out beneficiaries.
CEC Gyalson stated that Ladakh Scout is a vital part of the Indian Army and has been playing a major role in safeguarding the nation’s border. He added that Hill Council, Leh will never forget the sacrifices and contributions from the local heroes and will ensure all possible support to strengthen the community in the future.
