CEC Leh reviews preparation for the celebration of ‘Ladakh dPal-rNgam Tuston’ 2021

Leh, Oct 26: The Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Advocate Tashi Gyalson convened a meeting today with the district officers to review preparations and finalize programs for the celebration of ‘Ladakh dPal-rNgam Tuston’ on the occasion of UT Foundation Day in Leh on the 31st of October this year.
CEC Gyalson reviewed the status of preparations assigned to the respective departments and took note of the progress and shortcomings. All the district officers were assigned their roles and responsibilities for the event which includes publicity, stage arrangements, cultural programs, security, hospitality, etc.
CEC and DC Leh instructed all the officials to finalize preparations for the celebration of ‘Ladakh dPal-rNgam Tuston’ this year.
This year’s celebration will be observed under the banner of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ marking the glorious 75 years of India’s Independence.
The meeting was attended by Dy Chairman, Tsering Angchuk, Executive Councillors, Stanzin Chosphel, Tashi Namgyal Yakzee, Ghulam Mehdi Ashoor; Deputy Commissioner Leh, Shrikant Suse, ADC Leh, ASP Leh, District Officers, and prominent personalities from Art and Cultural backgrounds including Padma Shree, Morup Namgyal.
