CEC Leh reviews arrangements for the Himalayan Film Festival in Leh

Leh, Sep 18: A meeting was held today under the chairmanship of the Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Advocate Tashi Gyalson, to discuss and review arrangements for the first edition of the Himalayan Film Festival to be conducted in Leh.
Dy Director, Information, Ghulam Nabi Tak apprised the Chairman of the plans and ongoing arrangements for the upcoming film festival in Leh. He stated that the Information Department Ladakh is working in full swing in collaboration with the Directorate of Film Festivals India. He added that Hon’ble Minister for Information and Broadcasting, GoI, Shri Anurag Singh Thakur, would inaugurate the opening event of the Himalayan Film Festival this year.
Executive Councillor for Information, LAHDC Leh, Stanzin Chosphel, gave suggestions for the film festival and sought timely addresses in consultation with the concerned stakeholders associated with the film festival.
CEC Tashi Gyalson noted the points raised during the meeting and stated that LAHDC Leh would conduct a review meeting again on Monday, i.e. on 20th September 2021 with the Steering Committee of the Himalayan Film Festival.
Dy Chairman, LAHDC Leh, Tsering Angchuk, EC Information, LAHDC Leh, Stanzin Chosphel, EC Minority Affairs, LAHDC Leh, Ghulam Mehdi Ashoor, Additional District Magistrate Leh, Sonam Chosjor, Deputy Director Information, Ghulam Nabi Tak, Sr. Accounts officer, UT Secretariat, Executive Engineer PDD Leh, Representative from Thinking Cap Creatives, and other officials of the Steering Committee attended the meeting.
