CEC Feroz Khan distributes renewable energy systems, devices to beneficiaries of Chiktan Constituency

KARGIL, APRIL 21, 2022: Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor (CEC), LAHDC, Kargil, Feroz Ahmed Khan today distributed renewable energy systems and devices under the subsidy component to the beneficiaries of Chiktan Constituency at an event organized by Kargil Renewable Energy Agency (KREDA) at its complex here.
Executive Councillor Social Welfare Aga Syed Hassan Arman, Executive Councilor Works Aga Syed Abbas Razvi, Executive Councilor Tourism Er Phunsok Tashi, Executive Councilor Health Mohsin Ali, Councilor Thasgam Abdul Rahim, Project Director KREDA Kacho Ahmad Khan besides other concerned officers and beneficiaries were present on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, the CEC said that KREDA is doing exemplary work in the field of Solar and Hydro energy and should continue its efforts in the future.
While addressing the beneficiaries, he said that they should take maximum benefits of the government schemes adding that the equipment they are receiving while compared to market rates are very nominal.
Khan directed that beneficiary share should be collected in advance by the department and there should be no complaints from the beneficiaries.
CEC Khan later distributed solar streetlights, solar high mast and solar water heater among the beneficiaries of Chiktan Constituency.
Speaking on the occasion, PD KREDA Kacho Ahmad Khan said the department is trying its best to provide renewable energy across the district and is also ensuring the distribution of quality renewable systems under different schemes.
He thanked LAHDC Kargil for providing funds under CAPEX from the last three years and said that the equipment distributed today had been procured under the subsidy component.
