CEC felicitates Ladakhi athletes for their outstanding achievements in National Championship
Leh, May 10: A team of athletes from the Cerebral Palsy Association of Ladakh represented UT Ladakh in the recently concluded National Athletic Championship being conducted by the Cerebral Palsy Sports Federation of India in New Delhi. The local athletes achieved numerous feats as Chimet Angmo secured a Gold medal in Shot Put and a 100-meter race, whereas Ahsaan Ali secured Gold in Long Jump F 38 category, and Stanzin Laksphel secured a Silver medal in the 200 MTR race.
Appreciating their outstanding performances at the National Championship, the Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson and Dy Chairman/EC Sports, Tsering Angchuk felicitated and presented them with a token of appreciation for their accomplishments. He further assured to assist them and to provide necessary sports facilities in future.
EC Agriculture, Stanzin Chosphel; Councillor Sku-Markha, Sonam Nurboo; Councillor Lamayuru; Morup Dorjay and Councillor Kungyam, Thinles Norbu were present during the occasion.
