CEC chairs the Executive Council meeting at Leh

Leh, 25 Dec: The Chairman/ CEC, LAHDC, Adv. Tashi Gyalson chaired the executive council meeting of LAHDC Leh.
A discussion was held in the executive council to boost the fresh recruitment in the district by LAHD-SSRB, Leh through transparent manner by incorporating latest tamper proof methods like OMR (optical marks read)and CBT(computer based test). The Executive Council approved the draft LAHD-SSRB (Conduct of Examination Rule) 2021.
It was also decided that the 11th Sustainable Mountain Development Summit will be organized in Leh, by LAHDC, Leh in collaboration with Integrated Mountain Initiative.
The meeting also decided to constitute a committee to prepare a draft management plan for Leh district relating to Climate change and to make Ladakh climate resilient.
Further, the meeting decided that LAHDC,Leh will frame a policy on preservation and protection of heritage sites and monuments.
Dy Chairman,LAHDC,Tsering Angchuk; Executive Councilor, agriculture, Stanzin Chosphel; Executive Councilor, Animal/Sheep, Tashi Namgyal Yakzee; Executive Councillor, Minority/forest, Ghulam Mehdi; Deputy Commissioner, Leh, Shrikant Balasaheb Suse and other officials attended the meeting.
