DC Leh convenes meeting with NHPC, NHIDCL officials for oxygen plants at Khaltse & Nyoma

Leh, June 1: The Deputy Commissioner/CEO LAHDC Leh, Shrikant Suse, today convened a meeting with officials from NHPC and NHIDCLfor the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 200 LPM oxygen plant for the 30-bedded Primary Health Centre (PHC) at Khaltsi and 100 LPM Oxygen Plant at Nyoma. The objective of the meeting was to expedite the procurement and installation of oxygen plants at Khaltsi and Nyoma under the Corporate Social Responsibility of NHPC Leh and NHIDCL Leh, respectively.
In the meeting, the officials discussed the component-wise estimate of supply, installation, testing and commissioning of oxygen plants and the mode of procurement of each item. For early delivery of the machines and quality work at the site, the Deputy Commissioner decided to supervise each activity in coordination with the companies.
DC Leh directed the concerned departments to visit the sites, complete procurement formalities and execute the necessary civil works & mechanical components.
District Superintending Engineer, PWD, Leh, Chief Planning Officer, Executive Engineer, Mechanical Div. Leh, AEE PWD electric wing, General Manager, NHPC, Leh, Executive Director NHIDCL, Leh and others officials from the companies attended the meeting.
