BHC&RC to conduct total knee replacement camp, CEC conducts preparatory meeting

KARGIL, MAY 12, 2022: Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor (CEC), LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan today chaired a preparatory meeting with Health Department and Baqirya Health Care and Research Centre (BHC&RC) Kargil to organize total Knee and hip replacement (TKR & THR) surgery camp at Kargil.
The Knee Replacement Camp is organised by BHC&RC in collaboration with Health Department, LAHDC Kargil that will be held in Kargil from May 19 to May 21, 2022.
On the occasion, Executive Councilor for Health, Mohsin Ali, CMO, Dr Munawar Hussain Wazir, President BHC&RC, Dr Wilayat Ali, Medical Superintendent District Hospital, Kargil, Dr Liyaqat Ali Khan and Advisor BHC&RC, Dr Ahmad Ali attended the meeting.
The CEC instructed the concerned officers to make arrangements of wards for patients, beds, theatre, medical and paramedical staff and ensure accommodation for medical staff.
CEC Khan further instructed to deploy medical officers from other medical centres in the district on temporary basis to smoothly conduct the surgeries.
