BDC Drass inaugurates segregation shed

Kargil, July 01, 2022: BDC Drass in presence of BDO Drass, Sarpanchs, panches and local residents on Thursday inaugurated segregation shed at Drass.
Before the inaugural ceremony, the BDO Drass briefed about the solid waste segregation as well as the benefits of segregation shed.
Under Swachh Baharat Mission ODF ++, this mission solid waste management program was started to collect solid garbage from market and dispose it off in a scientific way.
He appealed the merchants to segregate the solid and liquid wastes separately so that it becomes easy to segregate the waste at the segregation shed.
He also appealed to people to cooperate with the department to make Drass clean and green. In the end, waste pickup truck was also flagged off by BDC Drass to collect garbage from the market.
