Ayushman Bharat block-level Health Mela at Health and Wellness Center, NTPHC Trespone

KARGIL, APRIL 19, 2022: As a part of the celebrations of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, block-level Health Mela was organized by Block Medical Officer Sankoo under the guidance of Chief Medical Officer Kargil (CMO) today at Health and Wellness Center NTPHC Trespone.
Councillor Trespone, Hujatul Islam Walmuslimeen Agha Syeed Mujtaba Mousavi who was the chief guest at the event inaugurated the Health Mela.
The block-level Health Mela opening ceremony was attended by BDC Chairperson Trespone Haji Towhir, Block Medical Officer Sankoo, Dr Ghulam Hussain, Dr Imtiyaz Ali Surgeon, Dr Joseph Daniel orthopedic surgeon, Dr Ruksana Batool Dental Surgeon, Dr Amina Banoo Medical Officer CHC Sankoo, Dr Zakir Hussain Medical Officer NTPHC Trespone, senior citizens PRI members and paramedics staff were also present.
Stalls were erected to provide health services like free diagnostics, ABHA (health ID), Ayushman Bharat Golden Card, Health ID Generation, telemedicine facility E- Sanjeevani online consultation, general OPD services, orthopedics, dental OPD services, NCD screening Covid-19 vaccination, free medicines, free diagnostic, MCH, health and wellness were kept available for the general public for their benefit.
Councillor Aga Syeed Mujtaba Mousavi appreciated the effort of Health Department Kargil doctors and paramedic staff in organizing the Health Mela.
Later, the citizens of Trespone highly appreciated to Health Department Kargil and thanked them for organizing such Mela and hoped that such program would be organized in the future as well.
