Awareness program under ‘Kisan Bhagidari Prathmikta Hamari’ campaign for farmers held at Minji

KARGIL, APRIL 28, 2022: As part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, an awareness program for farmers was conducted at Minji under ‘Kisan Bhagidari Prathmikta Hamari’ Campaign.
Councilor of the area was present as chief guest at the function besides the Naib Sarpanch and Panches of the area were also present on the occasion.
Around 70 progressive farmers of the area including women folk participated in the program. The officers of the department delivered speeches on relevant topics like the production of organic compost, management of orchards etc.
Chief Horticulture Officer Kargil elaborated on different schemes under implementation in the department with an aim to uplift the farmer economy in order to improve their livelihood.
On the occasion, Councilor also emphasized the judicious use of the infrastructure created by the farmers under different schemes.
