Awareness program on solid waste management held at Drass

KARGIL, MAY 24, 2022: An awareness camp regarding solid waste management was conducted in Gram Panchayat Rambirpora Drass today.
At the event, BDO Drass and Panchayat Secretary Ranbirpora briefed people how to collect dry waste in bins, transport and scientifically dispose of in segregation shed.
Most of the participants present in the event were women. They assured BDO Drass and Panchayat Secretary that they will make solid waste management system successful and make Drass town environment friendly and plastic-free.
In the end, Sarpanch Ranbirpora thanked Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department (RD&PRD) and appealed the members of the Gram Panchayat to contribute their best and make t solid waste management successful.
