Acting CEC inaugurates total knee and hip replacement surgery camp in Kargil

KARGIL MAY 19, 2022: Acting Chairman, LAHDC, Kargil Aga Syed Abass Razvi today inaugurated 3-day Total Knee and Hip Replacement (TKR&THR) surgery camp being organized by Baqirya Health Care and Research Center (BHC&RC) Kargil in collaboration with Health Department and LAHDC Kargil which will start from May 19 to 21, 2022.
Executive Councilor for Health Mohsin Ali, Ex MLA Haji Asgar Ali Karbalai, Medical Superintendent DH Kargil Dr Layaqat Ali Khan, Vice Chairman Sheikh Bashur (IKMT), senior citizens, voluntaries besides other concerned officers were present during the inaugural ceremony.
The medical camp will be held under the supervision of operating faculty Dr Atique Vasudev, Director Knee Division Medanta, the Medicity Gurugram Haryana.
Speaking on the occasion, the acting CEC extended gratitude to the volunteers of BHC&RC Kargil and appreciated its work in providing health-related services at the doorsteps of people, especially to marginalized sections of society.
He said that the humanitarian services they are extending are essential and urged the organization to hold such medical camps in future for the benefit of patients.
The Acting CEC also said that LAHDC Kargil is fully committed to provide quality healthcare services at all levels to people across Kargil district.
On the occasion, EC Mohsin Ali also hailed the social services being carried out by BHC&RC since its inception and said that their voluntary work is praiseworthy. He said the progress of any society is a collaborative effort which is evident from such camps.
Dr Oliyat also thanked Director Knee Division Medenta Dr Atique Vasudev for their continued voluntary support and services for the people of Kargil
