9 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 6 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Jul 27: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of nine new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday, and all nine were in Leh. While a total of 3518 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 1136 and Kargil: 2382 were found negative.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged six patients yesterday, two from Leh and four from Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 70; 58 in Leh and 12 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 1712 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 54 and 936 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts respectively.
