9 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 6 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Aug 07: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, nine new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday, two in Leh and seven in Kargil. While a total of 2204 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 941 and Kargil: 1263 were found negative.

No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.

The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged six patients yesterday, five from Leh and one from Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 65; 54 in Leh and 11 in Kargil district.

The bulletin further informs that 2213 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 90 and 417 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts.
