9 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 4 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Aug 13: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, nine new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday, seven in Leh and two in Kargil. While a total of 1900 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 1137 and Kargil: 763 were found negative.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged four patients yesterday, three from Leh and one from Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 87; 67 in Leh and 20 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 2055 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 35 and 364 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts.
