    9 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 14 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, Jul 12: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of nine new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday, eight in Leh and one in Kargil. While, a total of 2033 sample reports in UT Ladakh; Leh: 1170 and Kargil: 863, were found negative yesterday.
    No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
    The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 14 patients yesterday. Out of which 10 patients were discharged in Leh and four in Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 110; 77 in Leh and 33 in Kargil district.
    The bulletin further informs that 2303 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 140 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse check post yesterday and 888 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi check post.
