8 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 4 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Aug 09: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, eight new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday, three in Leh and five in Kargil. While a total of 1471 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 814 and Kargil: 657 were found negative.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged four patients yesterday and all the patients were discharged from Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 69; 52 in Leh and 17 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 2150 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 104 and 328 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts.
