    8 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 24 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, Jul 07: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of eight new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday, four each in Leh and Kargil. While, a total of 3072 sample reports in UT Ladakh; Leh: 1722 and Kargil: 1350 were found negative yesterday.
    No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
    The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 24 patients yesterday. Out of which 18 patients were discharged in Leh and six in Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 200; 168 in Leh and 32 in Kargil district.
    The bulletin further informs that 1925 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 68 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse check post yesterday and 1098 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi check post.
