    8 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 10 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, Aug 28: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, eight new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday, four each in Leh and Kargil. While a total of 1806 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 742 and Kargil: 1064 were found negative.
    No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
    The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged ten patients yesterday and all were discharged from Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 64; 45 in Leh and 19 in Kargil district.
    The bulletin further informs that 2211 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 112 and 342 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts.
