7 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh;7 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Aug 07: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, nine new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday, six in Leh and one in Kargil. While a total of 1609 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 819 and Kargil:790, 1602 were found negative.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged seven patients yesterday, six from Leh and one from Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 65; 53 in Leh and 12 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 2104 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 108 and 330 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts.
