7 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 9 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, Aug 11: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, seven new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday, six in Leh and one in Kargil. While a total of 2033 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 1156 and Kargil: 877 were found negative.
    No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
    The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged nine patients yesterday, eight from Leh and one from Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 74; 55 in Leh and 19 in Kargil district.
    The bulletin further informs that 1401 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 168 and 392 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts.
